| History |
Built by Audi Sport in 1996 as a test car it was not until 1999 that it made it's race debut in the German STW-Cup driven by Oliver Mayer
In 2001 following a rebuild it was entered in the Belgium Procar Championship by Dubois Racing, taking second place driven by J.F. Hemroulle and Tim Verbergt.
At the end of 2001 the car was purchased by Hombre Motorsport and run in the 2002 and 2003 Swiss Super Touring Championship and 2004 Pirelli Touring Car Trophy.
The car was not raced in 2005 and was given a complete rebuild during 2006
In 2007 the car raced at Most and Hockenheim, and in 2008 in the Czech Championship at Hungaroring and Nürburgring. |
