| History |
Used by James Thompson in the 1996 British Touring Car Championship, scoring the Vectra's first and only race win of the season at Snetterton. At the end of the season it was fitted with a second seat and used for PR rides and as a show car.
Used by Steve Hurst in Formula Saloons until late 2001 when it was sold to Steve Papworth, who also used it in Formula Saloons
In March 2004 the car was acquired by Alex Schooledge and raced occasionally in the LMA Euro Saloons Championship.
Sold in Jan 2006 to Slovakian hillclimber Julo Konček, and used in the FIA European Hillclimb Cup. |
