History
Originally raced by James Thompson in the 1994 British Touring Car Championship.Sold to Hamish Irvine in 1995 and again raced in the British Touring Car Championship.
In 1996 this car plus, together with a older spare chassis were traded by Irvine for a Ferrari 355 and shipped to Portland, Oregon. New owner Dave Edgar had intended on running the car in the North American Touring Car Championship but that plan had to be abandoned when the series folded.
The car did go on to be used in a number of regional club event and took the class lap record at Portland International Raceway; a record it still holds thanks to a change in circuit configuration.
