History
Used by Alain Menu as his spare car for the 1997 British Touring Car Championship. The car was raced at the final meeting of the year at Silverstone, although it is not know if the car was used elsewhere that year.The following year the car was run by DC Cook Motorsport in the BTCC for Tommy Rustad, tothe Independents’ Cup title, taking 5 class wins in the process.
In 2001 the car was purchased by Rob West, who spent the following 3 years obtaining all the parts necessary to get the car running and has now been fully restored to original 1997 livery. During this period the car has been offered for sale on a number of occasions.
In July 2006 the car made it's first outing for many years when it ran at the Goodwood Festival of Speed in the hands of new owners Myles and Gavin Hicks, before being shipped to New Zealand.
In early 2023 the car was sold to a private collector and returned to the UK
