History
Built by Prodrive and driven by Alain Menu and Kris Nissen in the 1992 British Touring Car Championship. The following season the car was acquired by Dave Pinkney and again raced in the British Touring Car Championship.
In 1994 the car was sold to Sweden and spent many years being raced in Scandinavia, Holland and Denmark
In 2007 the car was raced by Klaus Ellmies in the Danish Special Saloons series. Shortly afterwards the car was part-exchanged to KK Automotive in Germany. KK then sold the engine and box. The rolling shell changed hands and was due to be fitted with a V8 for use in the Berg Cup but that project was never completed and the car languished in a barn for the next 5 years.
In Dec 2013 the car was purchased by Jon Payne and returned to the UK
