History
Built as a prototype for the S40 BTCC racer in late 1996, the car was initially used for testing before being eventually sold to Volvo Guatemala.In 2002 and 2003 the car was raced by Cromwell Cuestas in South American championship before being taken over in 2004 by Eduardo Cohen. During this period the car was gradually modified and eventually fitted with a turbocharged 5-cylinder engine.
The car is now back in Sweden and resides in Greger Pettersson's collection, having been restored back to original condition.
