Used by CiBiEmme / BMW Italia as a spare car in 1997 before being used the following year by Fabrizio de Simone in the Campionato Italiano Superturismo.

Subsequent history is unknown, until it was used in the 2007/08 Spanish Hillclimb series driven by Francisco Pérez-Gaitán, before being purchased by Dan Bourgeon and run in the French series in 2008/09.

Purchased by Don Grice but unused until 2014 when it was entered in the HSCC Super Touring Car Championship. The car appeared at the Silverstone Classic media/test day but did not race until 2016.

Acquired by John Cockburn in 2018 and over the next 2 years was rebuilt and eventually returned to 1998 livery.
