HistoryOne of a number of Japanesse-spec cars built by MSD. These cars used the JDM bodyshell, although had the same running gear as their European counterparts.
Used by Mugen Honda as a test and development car and driven by a number of drivers including 1996 JTCC champion Naoki Hattori, although the car never raced.
In 1997 the car was purchased by Honda America, who re-badged it as HART001 and run in the 1997 North American Touring Car Championship for Forrest Granlund
Currently in New Zealand owned by Nigel Arkell and in the livery of HART's 1997 NATCC sister car.
