History
Built by Audi Sport in 1994 and run by Audi Sport Italia in the Campionato Italiano Superturismo for Rinaldo Capello. At the end of the season the car was sold to Austrian team MIG Motorsport, and the following year driven by Philipp Peter in the ADAC SuperTourenWagen Cup.
During 1996 the car would again be raced in the ADAC SuperTourenWagen Cup, this time driven by Peter Mamerow.
Between 2000-2004 the car was driven in the Spezial Tourenwagen Trophy by Joachim and Stefan Duscher, having been fitted with a 2.8-litre turbo engine and wide-arch bodywork. In Jan 2005 the car was involved in a roll-over crash at Hockenheim and extensively damaged.
Eventually sold for parts to Andreas Biehr, who partly striped the car.
Purchased in 2016 as a bare chassis by Sven Runnar Nilsen with the intention of rebuilding the car. However it was subsequently discovered that a bend rollcage and torn-off mounting points meant that the shell was beyond repair.
