Early history of the car is unknown. There are suggestions that it could by the car used by Roberto Ravaglia in the 1995 FIA Touring Car World Cup, although this has yet to be confirmed.

During 1996 the car was driven in the ADAC SuperTourenWagen Cup by Alex Gaggl for the first part of the year, and by Christian Menzel for the final few races.

Driven by Clas Esbjug to take the 1997 Norwegian Touring Car Championship, and in 1998 driven by Kim Esbjug in the Swedish Touring Car Championship.

Unused since the end of 1998, the car is still owned by Kim Esbjug.
