Built for the 1991 British Touring Car Championship where it was driven by Jeff Allam. At the Donington Park meeting the car was involved in a multi-car accident caused when Nick Whale's BMW blew it's engine and deposited oil over the track.

For the remainder of the year, Allam would use the car previously driver by John Cleland, with Cleland reverting to a 1990 spec car.
