Run by Engstler Motorsport in the 1997 ADAC SuperTourenwagen Cup for Danny Pfeil. Team boss Franz Engstler would also drive the car in 1998 as a one-off at the Zeltweg round of the Central European Championship.

Sold to collector Uwe Degner, the car remained unused until sold to Paul Nieuwenhuis in 2001. Between 2002 and 2004 Nieuwenhuis would would race the car in the Dutch Alfa Romeo Challenge.

In 2005 the car was acquired by Jip Van Putten.
