Believed to have remained Hoy's regular race car for the majority of the season, although following damage at Brands Hatch Hoy would switch to M98R-002 and M98R-003 for the final two rounds of the season at Oulton Park and Silverstone.

In 2006 the car was raced in Serbia by Milenko Vukovic. As of 2007 the car is currently in Denmark.
