History
1994 - Built and used by Ray Mallock Ltd for Vauxhall in BTCC. Driven by John Cleland, in GM card colours. Cleland took 2 race wins in the car at Donington and finished 4th in the championship.1995 - Shipped to South Africa, updated to 1995 aero spec. Used in South African Championship by Grant McCleery, finishing 3rd in the championship
1996 - Shipped back to Vauxhall in UK, not used.
1997 - Used by Pilgrim Motorsport in Formula Saloon Championship. Driven by Simon Dickinson in three races.
1998 - Used by Pilgrim Motorsport in Formula Saloon Championship. Driven by Simon Dickinson.
1999 - Used by Pilgrim Motorsport in Formula Saloon Championship. Driven by Simon Dickinson.
2000 - Not used
2001 - Used by Virgo Motorsport in Formula Saloon Car Championship. Driven by Derek Hale.
2002 - Sold to Keith Butcher then to Nigel Bowen. The car sat in a barn unused for several years.
2006 - Acquired by John Hammersley. Following a 250-hour rebuild the car reappeared in 1995 yellow/white BTCC livery and was entered in the LMA Euro Saloon Championship, winning Class A (second overall) and taking race wins at Croix (twice) and Donington with new lap records at both circuits.
2007 - Used by John Hammersley in the LMA Euro Saloon & Sports Car Championship for the early part of the year
In March 2008 the car was sold at auction to Mike Newton, who then sold the car to a German buyer. The car would remain untouched until 2020 when sold to Steffan Irmler
