History
Run by Oreca for Jean-Marc Gounon in the 1994 Championnat de France de Supertourisme. The following season the car was run under the 'Equipe Oreca' banner for Stéphane Ortelli.
In March 1996, this and the sister car (E36/CL2 0090 94) were sold to Canadian team Delong Motorsports in a deal brokered by Peggen Andersson. Originally Delong ran the car for Steve Petty in the North American Touring Car Championship but Petty left to form his own team after the first meeting, although Petty ended up leasing the car for the Detroit and Portland rounds until his own car arrived in time for the Toronto round, with Jim Kenzie stepping behind the wheel for that one meeting.
In July 1996 both cars were purchased by Peggen Andersson, and this car would be driven by Andersson in the 1997 Swedish Touring Car Championship, although the sister car would remain in Canada for another year.
With the two cars reunited in 1998, both were sold to Swedish Touring Car Championship team Polaris Auto with this car being driven by Tõnu Soomer
Both cars were sold to Team HP Autoracing in 2001 and run in the 2002 and 2003 Norwegian series for team boss Hans-Peter Havdal.
In 2010 the car was driven by Steffen Gislerud in the Norsk GT4 series, although taken over by his son Christer Gislerud for the final round of the year and run in the GT3 class.
