Used by Johnny Cecotto to win the 1998 ADAC SuperTourenwagen Meisterschaft.

In 1999 the car was sold to BMW Sweden and driven by Fredrik Ekblom in the Swedish Touring Car Championship.

The following year the car was sold to Peggen Andersson, who dove it in that year's Swedish Championship.

In 2001, the car was sold back to BMW. The original panels, which had been removed from the car at the start of 1999, were put back and the car put on display at BMW's museum in Munich
