History
Originally run by Team Schnitzer for Peter Kox in the 1995 ADAC SuperTourenWagen Cup. A the end of the season the car was sent to Japan where Kox drove it in the final round of theAll Japan Touring Car Championship at Fuji.Following the Fuji race, the car was sold and would be run by EKS Motorsport in the South East Asian series. Driven by Winston Mak during 1996 and 1997, until be taken over by Paul Chan for the final round of 1997.
Chan would again drive the car for most of 1998, before handing the car over to Chi Wah Chan who would drive at Zhuhai as well as the 1998 & 99 Macau races. The final outing would be the one-off China Touring Car Race held as support to the FIA GT meeting at Zhuhai. Following that race the car was placed in a storage container and remained unused.
In 2012 the car was sold to an Australian buyer where it was stripped ready for restoration, although that was never completed. In 2013 the car was purchased by John Cockburn and shipped to the UK where it was rebuilt. In early 2016 the car became part of the collection at Classic Heroes.
