Believe to have original been used by John Cleland in the 1994 FIA Touring Car World CupFor 1995 the car was run in the 1995 South African Touring Car Championship by Michael Briggs.
Sold to John Henderson and raced in the Amaroo Park round of the 1997 Australian Super Touring Championship, and at both Oran Park round of the 1998 Championship
During the week of the 1998 Bathurst 1000 the car was sold to Mike Newton after Newton's own car suffered an engine failure during Friday's final qualifying session. Newton had only wanted to buy a replacement engine but it was an all or nothing deal so team-mate Jamie Miller was dispatched to Sydney to complete the purchase.
Subsequently used to replace 019 after that car was crashed at 1999 Macau GP and adopted the red & yellow livery previously seen on 019.
Purchased by Mark Jones in 2012 and run at selected rounds of the HSCC SuperTouring series.
In 2023 the car was acquired by Stuart Caie
