History
Originally built for the 1996 Campeonato de España de Turismos and run by Team Rosberg for Eric van de Poele.Sold to Czech driver Václav Bervid and used in the 1997 and 1998 FIA Central European Zone Supertouring Championship.
In 1998 the car was purchased by Keith Butcher and used in the 1999 WRDA Sports & Saloon Car and 1999 Formula Saloon Championships. Butcher would continue to use the car in both series for the next couple of years, until eventually sold to Derek Hale in 2001.
Hale would use the car in the 2001-2003 Formula Saloon Championship, and then the 2004 and 2005 BRSCC Euro Saloon Car Championship.
In late 2005 the car was sold to Scottish racer Chris Docherty and then to Andrew Gallacher who drove the car at Oulton Park for the August round of the 2005 Northern Saloon & Sportscar Championship and at Knockhill in October for a round of the 2005 SMRC Sports & Saloon Car Championship. The car remained unused until October 2006 when it was listed for sale on eBay.
During 2007 the car was raced by Peter Wilkinson in the BARC SE Saloon Championship. At the Snetterton meeting in May the car received substantial rear-end damage when it was involved in a start-line shunt, but was repaired and back out racing at Castle Combe 6 weeks later.
Unused in 2008, the car would re-appear on track at Silverstone in July 2009 for the David Leslie Memorial Trophy and at Pembrey the following month for a round of the WRDA Sports & Saloon Car Championship driven by Ken Rattenbury
In late 2014 the car was purchased by Keith Butcher and Dave Jarman and restored back to original 1996 Spanish livery.
In 2016 the car was sold to a New Zealand buyer.
