History
Built late 1995 by Ray Mallock Ltd to 1996 specification for Opel Motorsport South Africa.Raced in the 1996 South African Super Touring Championship by Michael Briggs, finishing 5th in championship (49 points).
The car was then sold to Greenfields Mowers Racing and shipped to Australia where it was driven in the 1997 Australian Super Touring Championship by Cameron McLean
The car sat idle for most of 1998 before eventually being sold to John Henderson who raced it in the final rounds of the 1998 Australian Super Touring Championship.
Henderson raced the car again in 1999 in the Australian Super Touring Championship and 1999 Bathurst 500. The car was put up for sale at the end of the year but when no buyer could be found Henderson decided to race it again in the 2000 Australian Super Touring Championship.
The car sat idle for through most of 2001/02 until being sold to Andrew Haberfield in June 2002. Plans to run the car in the 2002 Australian Super Touring Series came to nothing as Haberfield continued to race his Nissan Primera.
The car was bought by Craig Hill in 2008 and raced in the 2009 Under 2-Litre Sport Sedan Championship.
In 2012 the car was sold to a buyer in Ireland
