HistoryBuilt for the 1997 British Touring Car Championship, where it was used by Rickard Rydell and Kelvin Burt.
In 1998 the car was used by Jan Nilsson in the Swedish Touring Car Championship, plus the Zhuhai round of the South East Asia Touring Car Zone Challenge and Macau Grand Prix
1999 - Loaned to Volvo China and driven at Macau Grand Prix and various Asian races by Henry Lee Jr
2000 - Rebuilt by SportPromotion
2001 - Used as a test car for the Swedish Touring Car Championship, driven by Andreas Boström and Hakan Roos, until it was heavily damaged in a crash at Knutstorp whilst being driven by Roos. The car was dismantled and the running gear transferred to R7-002.
Despite in initial reports that the remains of the shell had been scrapped, in 2012 the still-damaged shell reappeared and was purchased by Björn Hall.
