History
The last of the RML-built Vauxhall Cavaliers. Used as a test car by John Cleland, James Thompson and Mike Briggs in the latter half of the season, eventually making it's race debut at the 1995 FIA Touring Car World Cup where it was driven by Anthony Reid under the Opel Team Japan banner.Run by Mint Motorsport in the British Touring Car Championship for Richard Kaye in 1996 and Jamie Wall in 1997, and for Tim Sugden in the end-of-season RAC Tourist Trophy.
Purchased by Nigel Bowen and raced in various Formula Saloons and Welsh Saloon/Sportscar race until 2004, when it was put into storage.
After many years of inactivity the car was sold in mid-2009 to Jonny Westbrook, and following a bare shell restoration appeared at the 2012 Fujifilm Touring Car Trophy driven by Frank Wrathall
