History
Build by RML / Ecurie Ecosse in 1993 and used by David Leslie to win the Thruxton round on the British Touring Car Championship and the end of season TOCA Shootout.Brought by Nigel Smith and run in the 1994 British Touring Car Championship in HMSO livery.
For 1995 the car was extensively upgraded with 1994-spec suspension and many 1995-spec part, and again run in the BTCC. The old suspension parts were later re-used in Joe Wagner's Spa 24hrs car.
The following year saw Nigel Smith race the car at selected rounds of the North American and Swedish championships.
In 2002 the car was raced in the Norwegian Touring Car Championship by Bjørn-Andrea Tvedt.
The car then spend a period of time in Denmark in the hands of Alf Magne Sørensen.
In 2008 the car was acquired by a Norwegian buyer having been stored outside for some time. Over the next few years the car was stripped and rebuilt, and painting in later1995 BTCC livery.
Returned to the UK in 2014. Rebuilt back to 1993 Ecurie Ecosse livery, it returned to the track for the GRRC 74th Members Meeting at Goodwood in March 2016
