History
Originally a 1996 British Touring Car Championship car, although it is not known who drove it.Won the 1997 Moscow Open Championship, driven by Nikolai Bolshikh.
It's believed this may be the car that Lee Brookes used briefly in the 1998 British Touring Car Championship. Brookes ran in qualifying at the Oulton Park round but did not start either race.
Used by Garry Woodcock in the Formula Saloon Championship in 1999, and again in the early part of the 2000 season.
Later sold to Andy Clarkin, although not used as his main race car, and then to Simon Blanckley.
Acquired by Stewart Whyte in 2008 and run that year in the selected rounds of the Northern Saloon & Sportscar Championship, BRSCC Euro Saloon & Sports Car Championship and SMRC Sports & Saloon Car Championship.
Later driven in the 2009 David Leslie Memorial Trophy, 2011 Goodwood Festival of Speed and 2013 HSCC Super Touring Car Trophy.
