History
Built by Audi Sport in Feb 1997 and used by Emanuele Pirro in the 1997 ADAC SuperTourenwagen Cup for the majority of the season. Pirro switched to a FWD car for the final 3 meetings that year and his car was taken over by Philipp Peter, with Peter's original car believed to have been to Frank Biela to use in the BTCC.Sold to ISR Racing in 1998 and run for Josef Venc in the FIA Central European Zone Supertouring Championship under the Charouz Racing banner.
In 1999 the car was used in the French Supertourisme Championship by Christophe Dechavanne.
For 2000 the car returned to Charouz Racing and ran in the Czech Championship, before being sold to Anders Hammer who used it in the 2001 and 2002 Swedish Touring Car Championship.
Between 2003-04 the car was run by Steve Hirst in selected Formula Saloons and Dutch Supercar Challenge events.
Between 2005-06 the car was driven by Giorgio Leonardi in the Italian Hillclimb Championship.
Purchased by Montenegro driver Dragan Milic at the end of 2008 and run in the Montengro Hillclimb and Serbian Touring Car series until 2013 when it was sold to Jonny Westbrook.
