History
Driven by Joachim Winkelhock in the 1994 British Touring Car Championship, although used as the spare car at the first Snetterton and Silverstone rounds.Later in the year the car would be driven by Winkelhock at the in the 1994 FIA Touring Car World Cup, and in the Macau and Wellington rounds of the FIA Asia-Pacific Touring Car Championship.
Sold to AM-Holzer Motorsport at the end of 1994 and believed to be the car driven by Alex Gaggl in the 1995 ADAC SuperTourenWagen Cup.
Driven by Roberto López in the Campeonato de Canarias de Turismo de Velocidad, winning the title in 2009.
In 2011 the car was leased to Juan Francisco Alonso to use in the 2011 Campeonato de Canarias de Turismo de Velocidad
Purchased by a UK BMW specialist in 2013, although the car would remain in storage until mid 2018 when sold to Piers Fox. The 2.9 litre Köhler engine was be replaced with an original 1994 unit, with the car planned to be returned to 1994-spec.
